went out to the range today to try this stuff out

started with a clean barrel so the first group was not great ( group of 3)

the second group of 5 were better 1.25 inches

the roups that followed were in the order of 1.0 to .75 which to me was pretty good for cheap match ammo

I have about 50 rounds down range now.

Not 100 percent sure they are an smk I pulled then and they are longer than my 250 gr smk in the box but are 250 gr. ?? Odd

They are good loads but flyers are common punch 2in the same hole than throws one.

But what can you expect 28 dollar ammo.

I have my HS precision zeroed at a hundred yards with federal 250gr match SMK off the shelf ammo. The S&B shot consistant 0.5" low to the federal stuff at 100yards , and was consistant right out to 500 yards with the calculated bullet drops i had for the federal stuff. would like to say it was good out to 1000, but it was too windy/gusty that day to make that statement. All in all i will be buying some more of this stuff.

Has anyone reloaded this brass? is it worth keeping?

I found the same. 1-2 inch groups with flyers.

My first outing shot 10 was good. But now that I have 100 down the pipe not consistent.

But the brass is good. Throw a 300 gr smk and filler up with retumbo and it's as good as lapua brass !!
