S&B Primers? Any good?

They are ok, if you use lnl ap press your going to have problems. I used 1000's but mainly priming using my single stage.

i mostly use S&B primers. they are inexpensive and go bang every time.

unfortunately, Tenda is out of stock of the SP. they told me today that the distributor has been out of stock for a while now. they do have SR in stock though.

I have also loaded a ton of these, in SR and LR, on both my Dillon 550 and 1050 with no problems.
I recently compared them in identical loads in my 6mmXC and 6.5 Creedmoor over a Labrador and the S&B were about 10-15fps slower the Fed 210Ms, but same ES/SD and no changes in accuracy.
They also seem to be 1/2 the price of most others. Great reviews online on them as well.
I will use them without hesitation.

Can you elaborate on this? My next press purchase was going to be a lnl.

Anyone with a XL650 experience issues with S&B?

SB primers would lock up the priming slide. this only happens for me with s&b primers.

no problems with the press, i have been using it for years with out issue.

I have used both. 10,000 SP and 5,000SR. I bought them because they were cheap. Excellent results.

I would buy again. Who has them?
The last time I purchased S&B primers, and they worked fine, was at Bullseye Sports in London,ON. They show them in stock as I type this post. Decent place to buy stuff as well in my opinion.

Out of the thousands that I've used in LP, SP and SR, I've had exactly one FTF with a small pistol primer. Compared to 4 FTF's using commercial reloads. I buy them whenever I can.

Thanks for the Feed back guys. I think im going to try some out and Chronograph and see if there is any difference in velocity as well. Ive been using Win Primers any for years and never had a primer not fire but there soft compared to most primers. My CZ-SP01 shadow is sprung lite so tends to not like CCI as i find them a tad bit hard.

They work fine. Harder as mentioned above. The small rifle do not function reliably in pistol like some other budget primers do. I don't use them for my lr match ammo, but I suspect they would probably be fine.
