S&B Primers

Any comments on the S&B primers now on the market via CanadaAmmo and SFRC? They're substantially cheaper than the usual brands - just wondering if they are noted for hardness (my M&P 9mm had a difficult time with CCI lead-free primers) or softness ("don't use in the Lee Autoprime") like Federal?

Ive been using S&B on and off when there was a shortage in both large and small pistol an have not had any issues at all. Not sure about hardness, but I am using the lee turret and use the ram to seat primers without issue. Cant imagine you will have any issues.

I used a 1000 and found a lot of crushed and didn't seat properly.
On the soft side in my opinion.

Are they from the recent batch? Most people have told me they find they to be similar to CCI in hardness and I have had very few reports of any crushing.

That's odd...I've used them by the 1,000s with no issues at all. In fact...I actually prefer them over WSP. They feed better through the Dillon auto Primer Filler...

I used about a thousand so far through a Dillon 650XL. No problem feeding at all.
