we are looking at making some 11x14 soft armor panles.
As many of you know we have been making and selling the 10x12 LIIA soft armor for a few years now, mostly sold to people with low profile plate carriers or as Backing plates for Hard armour.

Just looking to see what the need would be.
The reason we have not already made and sold these, is that we do not have any plate carriers for these.
That said there are lots of larger plate carriers that will take these, we sold just under 500 of our S&J 10x14 AR500 hard plates.
So some people are finding the right size plate carriers to fit 11x14 plate.

Our 10x12 LIIIA soft retails for $275 per set.
The 11x14 would cost a bit more, unless we did a large order, the issue is due to the shape, there is alot scrap.

If we did a pre order and got 50 orders we would tripple that order, and be able to offer it for $199.99 on a pre order only.
The lead time, would be 3,4 weeks from end of pre order

I want a set of soft only for a Perroz old style super slick PC

Fits 10x12 tight ar500

Think I can only run soft in them and have them hold up without being flimsy ?

Should I order same size or go bigger to make the fit stiff?

Yes I use my 10x 12 soft in the prwzzo low pro file plate carry it fits
 
How the hell did I miss this...love the AR500 set I got from ya.... would be in for one set of these too....2 bills-ish, oh yeah!
 
If Santa puts that carrier under the tree as promised I would be down for a set of soft and ar500 real fast. If he doesn't stuff it under the tree then I'll need to buy the 5.11 carrier I wanted first week of Jan and would gladly pre-order some softs.
I just ordered my +1 mag ext for my 870 this afternoon....2017 is going to be full of S&J gear.

our prices are always for a set of 2 plates
not sue if we are going to doe a soft and hard package deal, but do drop us and email to sales@sjhardware.com, depending if those items are already on sale, we may be able to work out a better price.
but again that will depend on, if we have stock and if the are not already on a discount.
The other issue we have is, we pay for the raw material in USD $ and it seems to be ceeping up again. last order we paid 1.38.9 as the world banks are looking at lowering Canada,s credit rateing due to debt and lack of growth. we may hit 1.45 or 1.50 but late spring..
so not sure where we are going to be on pricing, as a 15% increase at cost works out to be a 25% total increase in price.
Not sure if they will price us out of the market, as we are already at a very low profit on these items, and we have to make a large amount at one time to hit the price point.
