I bought a sling plate from S&J to attach a single point sling to my shotgun. The sling plate measures 1.5" wide, and most single point sling webbing attachments are 1" wide. Is this a problem, or is this normal. I'm thinking that the slack of the webbing attachment in the wider sling plate loop could be annoying. All the webbing attachments out there that I have seen are all 1" wide. Are there any wider webbing attachments? Thank you.

As stated by Farmboy, the sling plate is intended to be used with Mil spec 1 1/4" webbing like the BFG slings.
But can work on others such as 1"
But as farmboy said, why buy anything other then BFG :)

I had my eye on the Specter Gear Viper single point (1" webbed adapter), but couldn't pull the trigger on it before finding out whether it was compatible. The BFG sling will cost me twice as much but it looks very solid. Tough choice. BTW, the plate from S&J is decent, and the edges on it have been rounded to prevent any fraying of material from the sling. Thanks guys.
