S&J "Get In The Fight" SWEEPSTAKES!

What if he only posted only posted future contests on another gun website?

If it was only on one place, it might not be this one. Then you might never even know about it. It could be on ### ####### ######### ######, also known as ####. It’s getting lots of eyeballs and is all about firearms too...

I’m not on Facebook, but this goal is about eyeballs. FB is good for that, and is outside the echo chamber of “firearms enthusiasts”. So good and good.

I am not on Facebook and would have preferred a winner was announced here instead.
I would be interested in future contests only if they are announced here or another website not owned by the CIA.

The simple solution is to host all the details on their website. Then, post to Facebook, here, wherever... Announce the winner on the website. That easy, everyone, on any device, can access it.

Perhaps screenshot-ing a post would prevent those without Facebook or google skills to find it.

Their fb page isn't closed to non users.

Being a founding member of CGN, i think going back 16+ years, i spend alot of time here, but CGN is NOT the the center of the universe, this event was to raise money for CCFR and they have a larger client base on Facebook then they do anywhere else.
We also posted on Instagram, twitter, as well as our News letter, and flyers in our retail shipment and the local gun show we did last weekend.
We had expected this to take a week or 2 not 36 hours.
All that said, this is the first time we have done this and we have learnt lots about how we should do the next one.
As for the CIA comment, there is no such thing as privacy on the internet! CGN included.

My comment may have been misconstrued, It was a great idea and contest for a good cause.
I was happy to be involved but I would suggest as others have that results of the draw should be posted first on your website and then anywhere else that you feel is appropriate.
