S & K mount any good?

Can't find much information on this mount anyone using one of these?

Any commend?

I have actually used a S&K mount on my M1A back in the 80's IMHO one of the best 1st gen scope mounts out there ,they were extremely well built and locked solidly to the rifle .Are there better out there yes there are but stay away from that POS that Springfield Armouries markets it is junk.
 
The best mounts are secured at the rear by the charger clip guide and stabilized at the front by a screw. If you are adding a scope to shoot more accurately, I'd look first at the mounts listed in the sticky above.
 
I've own 3,

1)ARMS #18, no the best one, but the lower in profile, so it is still my #1
2)Smith Enterprises, the best or most solid of the 4 also the heaviest,
3)Springfield or copy, Very flimzy, gadgety mount with cheap metalurgic properties,

I'd like to try the SadLak Aluminum or titanium/lightweight model, seems rugged.
