S-TAC is BACK

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, with ejectors. Very stiff at first, but after a few hours of buck and slugs it has loosened up nicely. No issues to date and lots of fun with shorties. I’ve added an angle grip/hand stop, red dot, Buck Kicker chokes and a cheek pad. Not the one I’d choose for a primary tool, but nice to have while we can. Cheers.

Post a pic of you can. I'd like to see what mine is going to look like 😁. Didn't think about the cheek pad. Probably a good idea with the red dot.

These are the chokes I used: Carlson’s Ported Cremator chokes, close range so I don’t have to think about what I put through it. Reliable Gun helped source these out for me… they’re a pretty awesome team over there.

Looking good Stevo!
The extra length gained with the chokes looks more balanced then the stock barrel length.... :)

Your post reminded me that T.I. never responded to the questions I asked quite a while back!
It looks like there must be an M-lok slot on the bottom of the fore end after all!

How tight is the fore end on the gun?

Yes, a couple slots on the bottom and the fore end is solid, no shaky baky here.

Photographed and attached it for your viewing pleasure. 👀

PS there’s a short video going around where some dude has the fore end drop off and the receiver collapsing, but unless you know this boom stick you wouldn’t know that there’s a button on the far end just below the chokes. Press it and the fore end comes off and rest collapses for cleaning purposes.

I suspect the guy’s just a disgruntled owner who for whatever reason wants to discredit the manufacturer, distributor, and/or dealer.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the info Stevo, Not sure why TI didn't show an angle like you did above that let's people know it's slotted on the bottom, or why it's not mentioned?

Glad to hear it's a tight fit! The button on the front is not a typical release for the fore end but anyone familiar with this type of shotgun would figure out that it must be the release, depending on how it works, I could see where someone might think it's locked in place but there is something blocking the latch from engaging and the fore end drops unexpextedly..... a bit like not getting a magazine fully seated and having it drop out on the first shot.

Hopefully TI will bring in a version with a full length stock and 14 inch barrels..... :) I just don't see any situation where the extra 4 inches of length will get in my way, and the comfort of shooting with a longer length of pull will more then make up for it...... the fact the percussive blast will be reduced a bit by the longer barrels and the fact it will look better are things I am willing to live with..... :)

12" LOP ?
I don't get it, why so short ?
It's a "short model".... short barrels, short stock..... AS close as possible to the min length requirement..... but as has been said a few times already.... a few more inches would not make this thing a burden.

It's not designed to be practical...... and as TI stated in this thread, when they have brought in multiple length options the "short as possible" models out sell the others.

Maybe given the ideological war on anything remotely tac TI will have to change their name to PI.

Practical Imports

:)
