S&W 1006 Mags

I posted a WTB in the EE and found a guy who had imported some. I don't think anybody carries them, my supplier said he lucked out and found a dealer in the US who had stock.

4506 mags might work in a 1006, the mag-wells must be close to the same, as aftermarket grips work on both in my experience. I've used Sig 220 - .45 mags in my 220 10mm with out any issues, in fact they work better than the 10mm mags in that you don't need to depress the mag release to insert them. Probably easier to find 4506 mags.

on further research, it seems they won't work in a 1006. Too bad this is the case.

Source them from the US. They don't need to be pinned and you won't find a better price even after exchange. That's what I did when I needed 1006 mags.

Between Numritch and Wolff, you can order all the parts needed to make a 1006 mag except for the base plate retainer. They're not too difficult to fabricate. I just made five of them.
