S&W 12(6) Big Bore Revolvers

I love those Mountain Revolvers. The "black powder" chamfer really adds class.

I don't have 12(6) status, so I have to console myself with my 29-3 that was shortened to 5" by Armco.

It is indeed a four inch 38-44. Wrong stocks, but I did find a correct set last time I was in town from another CGN'er. I'll have to take a more up to date pic soon, - dan

Very nice catch on this 38-44, congrats !!

I'm into an eternal quest for a 4 inch 44 Cal Triple Lock....

Long long time ago (when I was a young handgun shooter) at a local bowling pins match, an old man (& I mean old !!) cleaned the whole table with 5 rds on his 1st try, pins flying 20 feet in the air...I was watching this incredible display of marksmanship with a powerfull handgun...He was using a 4 inch Triple Lock 44 S&W Spl !! Both werent ever seen again...but I'll always remember THAT 44 S&W !!

Man if i had prohib status id be buggin you relentlessly to sell me those guns.

Nice to see. No .44's in my house at this point, and nothing that short for me unfortunately. I did however pick up a nice 5" 27-2 last weekend at the local gunshow. Your post reminds me that I'm going to have to find a nice set of combat stocks for it soon!

If you consider selling it, let me know:D
