I just watched a YouTube video from the American Gunsmithing Institute on the S&W 1917 that I found very informative. It covered how to address crane alignment, fix endshake in the cylinder, fix timing issues and lots of other useful info. I have the Kuhnhausen S&W shop manual which is a great resource but this video explains a lot. Maybe I am just a better visual learner.
