Anybody remember these? Of course, they're prohibited now, they're so scary! Buddy of mine used to have one. Just SO handy in the bush.
Wonder how to get the restricted tube length shortened to 3.9"? Half the really nice revolvers built were 4"! Like 4.2" is SO much harder to conceal!

I have one ... along with a framed full-page black-and-white advertisement from 1946. The description "jewel-like" comes to mind ...
 
Here's my Model 43 (sorry for the poor photo. I'm no Ansel Adams!) It's an interesting piece. It only weighs 14oz. The frame and cylinder are all aluminum. The cylinder has steel sleeves. It is the gun I started my niece and nephew on when they were seven. Nice and light with a small grip for small hands.

tried to love them, just found the grip too small. I have a J frame with the shrouded hammer, but untill CCW comes to canada i'd rather shoot my 3" M27 or the Colt Agent.
