S&W 22A, good bad or ugly?

I shot around 400 to 500 rounds through one of the 22A's that my range has for customer's use. I had the odd jam in either FTL or FTE but on the whole it worked great. And it was as accurate as my fledgling skills and older hands and eyes were able to shoot. And FWIW I enjoyed it more than the Ruger they have that I also shot.

One thing I'm finding out about the two .22 pistols I have is that .22's are exceedingly dirty rounds. The insides of my .22's foul up and need cleaning around every 500 to 600 shots or they start jamming. So far I've been using CLP or my own solvent/oil mix (look up Ed's Red ) and I think it's the oil mixing with this powder residue that is gumming things up. I've read about using a dry lube that contains molybdenum disulphide in a carrier. One fellow said he easily got far more time between cleanings as well as almost no wear over around 10,000 rounds compared to a previous 22A that he wore out by 50,000. That sounded good enough to me that I want to try some of this stuff out.... if only I could remember the name of it. It was something like Dri-Slik or Dry Slick or gun slick or ?
