S&W 22A or Buckmark ?

I'm looking for a new .22, and I've narrowed it down to S&W 22A or a Buckmark Ultra RX
What are your thoughts ?

I owned both, I sold both (they're picky with bulk ammo)
I can give my vote for a Ruger MKIII with 5.5" bull bbl, this one eat everything without any hick-ups ...I love it, super accurate and 100% reliable

Already have two Rugers, looking for something different.

then I'll go with a SIG-226BR-22-BAS (not Mosquito) ....looks to me a lot better choice

Go for the Buck Mark, it's one of the nicer .22 autoloaders.

S&W model 41

I got to shoot a 22A a fair amount. I consider it a pretty nice gun. But I prefer the looks feel and easy handling of almost all the ammo I've fed to my S&W 422. There's also a 2206 stainless version that is a sweet looker as well.

I bought five S&W 22 A's for club use and I can say that the 22A is not worth the money. All five have had to be returned for warranty work. They simply will not stand up to heavy use (250 rounds per week). I suggest a Ruger or a High Standard.

I would suggest a Ruger Mk2 or 3.

If you are really serious about target shootin a S&W model 41 or a High Standard Trophy, Citation or Victor.

From there on it's a slippery slope that may lead to Walthers, Pardini's & other exotic european guns.
