Anyone have or have shot one of these? Looking for any feedback. Have had my eye on one and looking to add a revolver to the collection.
Thanks

Buy it, you wont regret it. Here are my first 16 shots at 10 yards. Extremely accurate and well balanced...

That the answers I was afraid of. I have heard nothing but good things about S&W performance centre guns and to be quite honest It just looks Awsome, and revolvers are just classic cool in my opinion.

There are many, many revolver guys on here that have owned both the 327 TRR8 scandium frame and the 627PC at the same time because of their similarities. Ultimately, many end up selling the TRR8 because it is too light when compared with the 627PC and not as comfortable to shoot. If you research the philosophy of use for the TRR8, you'll be surprised as well. It'll never be a carry gun for you in Canada and you won't be point man on the swat team (semi-autos' slides will hit the shield, so the point man uses a revolver to eliminate such a problem). Now if you can get over these facts go ahead and buy one, they look good, feel great in the hand, and have an awesome trigger pull. Having only handled the TRR8 but not shooting it, I cannot speak to how it compares to my 627PC, but I would bet that the heavier 627PC is a better shooter. This is all I know. Have a nice day.

Thanks for the info, have read similar reviews that say the same thing.

I've shot both, and own the 627. For any volume shooting it's more comfortable. The TRR8 win's on cool..and it does indeed look awesome. But if i'm going to do 100+ round sessions, i'll stick with the 627

I think the fact that this is a splurge gun for me and not my primary shooter at the range I'm leaning towards it over the 627, strictly on the "cool factor" hope to be able to make it to the big city next week to fondle one or a couple before making a firm decision. Maybee I shouldn't have subscribed to Jerry Miculeks YouTube channel, I think that's what caused this revolver obsession:p

Curious to know if you bought it? I just bought one, I figure 95% of my shooting will be with .38 Special so not worried about the weight being too light, figure being light will work in my favour, should be lighter to carry all day and hopefully quicker between targets. Really just talking myself into it, either revolver is very nice.

I have not bought one yet, was able to shoot one and will purchase one in the near future. Another gun I've wanted became available at the time so have to wait to replenish my gun allowance :)

I am having fun shooting 6 to 8 inch group offhand at 50 yards with my 8 times, my trigger is set just South of 2 pounds... JP.

I'll get on the band wagon. TRR8 is an awesome gun. If you like the way it looks don't hesitate just buy it. The argument between 627 PC and TRR8 is not worth considering. If one catches your eye then buy it. Like choosing between chalk and cheese. TRR8 was my choice and I would buy it again if I had to...

The TRR8 is awesome with the exception of their weak sear spring mine broke twice already (replaced under warranty) so far mine been running like a champ after the last sear spring replacement. Other than a minor issue I had I love this revolver its like getting two guns for the price of one and recoil when firing a .357 is very manageable even for my wife petite frame (she only shoot .22)
