There are many, many revolver guys on here that have owned both the 327 TRR8 scandium frame and the 627PC at the same time because of their similarities. Ultimately, many end up selling the TRR8 because it is too light when compared with the 627PC and not as comfortable to shoot. If you research the philosophy of use for the TRR8, you'll be surprised as well. It'll never be a carry gun for you in Canada and you won't be point man on the swat team (semi-autos' slides will hit the shield, so the point man uses a revolver to eliminate such a problem). Now if you can get over these facts go ahead and buy one, they look good, feel great in the hand, and have an awesome trigger pull. Having only handled the TRR8 but not shooting it, I cannot speak to how it compares to my 627PC, but I would bet that the heavier 627PC is a better shooter. This is all I know. Have a nice day.
