S&W 41 vs Browning Medalist

I've got a few of each, and both have their own charm I love the trigger and dry fire feature of the Browning Medalist. The fit, finish and general workmanship is better than the older Smith's. The slide to frame fit is so good it feels like glass. The first one I bought, actually came with Challenger grips installed. Those are perfect for both one and two handed shooting. I prefer shooting this one and picked up the 2nd one just because lol. The only negatives I can think of is parts can be tough to come by, and stripping for cleaning needs tools.

The S&W Model 41's are great too. Very good trigger, really good fit and finish. They are just as accurate as the Medalists, have more options available for optics and sights, and it's easy to switch barrels if I feel like 5.5" vs 7", or maybe an optic. Compared to the Medalists though, they feel a little more utilitarian, whereas the Medalist feels like a piece of functional art.

I feed both CCI SV, never bothered trying anything else. If I want to blast off cheap ammo, I'll bring out one of my Ruger 22/45's.
