how hard is it to fined ammo for a S&W 455 cal

A S&W model 1917 in .455? I believe the only comercial ammo currently is fiochi and the last box I bought was 60$ for 50

The fiocchi (eley mark II short case) seems to run between $50 and $60 a box I beleive TSE had some at one point as did Epps.

Buffalo Arms had the .455 colt (long) brass made from .45LC at $38US/100. you habe to figure out the export situation tho.

Ellwood Epps has (or had) brass in stock. I've been told they can get it in any time if they happen to be out when you order. I think their last price to me was $38.00 Can. for 50 plus GST and shipping if needed. It could be a lot cheaper now with the Can. dollar up to $.90 US, as they sell Yankee brass, not Fiocchi.

HORNADY is making it .455 WEBLEY MK2 new and selling LOADED AND BRASS through GRAF & SONS ( www.grafs.com ) in the U.S. Maybe HIGGINSONS ,who I believe is a HORNADY dealer , can order it if there is enough interest. Call them or any other HORNADY dealer and ask.
