Well I recently bought a 5" 460V and after shooting it today I think I'm in love. I've ordered the dies and .45 XTP MAG 240 and 300 grain bullets to reload for it using max loads of H110 but today I shot some Hornady 200gr. FTX factory loads. Wow, this makes my .44 mag Desert Eagle with max handloads seem like a joke! In bright sunlight there is a still a massive fireball and the concussive blast is ####ing awesome!

This is one impressive gun and caliber! I'm really looking forward to the annual night time Christmas shoot, at abby fish and game, where I'll get to nuke TV's, washing machines, and propane bottles.
It's weird to me why S&W doesn't make the 5" 460 anymore, the longer barrel revolvers seem too cumbersome to me, the 5" barrel is perfect.
 
Looking forward to trying that pig out. Wonder if there is a way to do all 3 gun, both Desert Eagles and the Smith at the same time?

I got to do the .500 S&W, .50AE Desert Eagle and .45/70 BFR side by side by side and that was pretty awesome. If I had the option I would have changed out the BFR for a 460V to try instead, but ended up with the .500 S&W
