S&w 500 Holy Crap

Tootall, I dream about go hunting since I started shooting handgun a long time ago, I still hope to enjoy it once, maybe I will go in Vermont when time will let me go.And I tried a S&W 500 the other day at my range, hard recoil,was a 500 gr lead, the guy told me it was doing around 1500??FPS, had nothing to really measure it, but Corbon is doing some .500 spec. for practice shall be good, finishing your day with a couple of cylinder of full load. I shoot my S&W .44Mag this way, and the more I do it, the better I am doing
The 500 is on my list, but I want to wait, cos everything is so expensive, components,brass, bullet, maybe with the demand going up , the price will go down?

I can't wait for someone to show up at an IDPA match with one of these things. I wonder if they'd have to shoot the targets twice to make sure they're down.
