I find the domed crosman ultra magnums (10.5 gr.) are tight fitting in all my air guns and rotary clips, give it a try.

X2 on the crosman ultra magnums they are a tight fit in all my airguns to, even though RWS are my favorite pellets to use and hight recommend

good for single shot rifles, would be a big hassle for semi autos

Given the hassle with a semi-auto or revolver-type pellet pistol jamming when the pellet falls through the holder, it would save a lot of time, much more so than a single shot. This problem simply will not occur to the same degree in a single shot.

I will definitely be looking for one of these pellet sizers so I can use up those cheap pellets, and the expensive ones that do the same thing! It should also make the cheaper pellets fit more tightly in my high-end competition air pistol. Might save me five or ten bucks a tin.

By the way, the mid-priced Crosman "Premier" .177 pellets seem to work well in my Walther CP-99. The skirts flare enough for a tight fit. Many of the other brands will fall through and jam up the little cylinder. It works on the same principle as the Smith copy, just a different shaped pistol with a removable reloadable cylinder "magazine."
