S&w 610

Well, maybe. Guess it depends on the shooter. The guy who came first in revolver at the last IPSC nats used a 610 and ammo in the exact configuration I mentioned.

I like a 10mm and who knows I might get the 610 myself, but I'm kinda asking myself what's the point of 10mm revolver; since it's basically a .357mag ballistic twin. I live the idea of a powerful semi-auto but in revolver platform 10mm doesn't offer any advantages over .357, .41 or .44mag.

but I guess if someone already has a 10mm auto it would make sense to get a revolver in the same caliber esp. if you reload to avoid the hustle/expence of setting up for another caliber.

The advantage of a 610 is no mods are needed to use moon clips. Moon clips mean fastest reloads + go to the range with 100's rds loaded on moon clips ready to drop in. Gun gets nice n' hot n' dirty. Blue smoke hangs in the air. You smile.

add them together and it's why I'm buying a 610. :dancingbanana:

and I get to use the dancing banana :)

I'm told the 610 comes with a handful of clips.
