I'm trying to find one myself. When I called Wholesale Sports a few days ago the guy claimed to have stock. I've had bad experiences with 'Nosale' Sports and won't buy from them but this is the lowest price in Canada for the S&W 617. Small shops have them priced about 100-150 more.

If you get one somewhere, you won't regret it. I got one off the EE and I love it. Well balanced, good trigger and fits my hand very well.

FWIW, I just located and bought a 6-shot one from Ellwood Epps. (839.80 for a 6-shot). They have one left.

I can't do pics, but the ten holes on my gun are well spaced and do not seem crammed at all. It is no prob to load or eject.

The timeing on a 617-10 is different (no surprise really, ther's 4 extra holes) than a 686, where as on the 617-6 its the same. Not an issue, but something that a 686-6 owner might want to know.
