So I went down the super light 150/155 grain lead road with a hot powder charge in my Glock 21 so I could try to reduce the 200grainer recoil and improve accuracy for PPC.
Of course it didn't work so I had all these 150/155 grain SWC lead bullets sitting around. One day I looked in my safe and remembered by S&W 625 four inch 45acp revolver. Decided to try some loads in it and see how it worked out. I used a DRG 155 grain 45acp cast SWC bullet behind 5.1grains of PROMO powder. [PROMO is like RedDot]
What I got was light recoil, and I shot a 469 out of 480 with that four inch in the PPC combat auto course. Me like!
