S&w 625

The only spot I have seen any for the past while has been on the EE but some are priced ridiculously high and any that are in the more reasonable price range go very quick.
Hopefully S&W will do another run of these with barrels long enough for us to have.
I have had mine for a few years now and it is one that I will never give up.
Good luck on your search.

I had one and they are a good gun. The current offerings are way too expensive. I bought a Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt/.45ACP convertible and that is an option. I have only shot a few rounds through my Ruger so I don't want to comment on it yet. You might find a S&W 25, I think this gun will do the same as the 625.

Hahaha. For the price of one 625 on the EE, I can buy a nice 686 classic plus a 629 and have money to spare for ammo.

It really is a shame. I would enjoy the novelty of owning a 625 but my 627-5 will have to do.

It's only really one gun nut on the EE that's asking a ludicrous price. All others in the past have been around $1200 or less.

. The other one for sale is just plain nutz.

Yep- way over the top. It'll be interesting to see how long his "FIRM" price lasts.

I got mine (5") on the EE in 2008. Can't remember what I paid for it but I think it was about $850.
It's one gun I'll never sell. I recently got a set of Ahrends Retro Target grips in cocobolo for it, although I think I'll eventually find a set of S&W targets like I have on my Model 14.

the one for $1000 was for sale yesterday at 12:40pm, i checked the ee at 1:40 and it was already sold :(

Then there is the guy who will be "btt"ing his add for years unless there is someone really desperate to pay such a price.

They are hard to find, but worth it.
Pre MIM and lock should go for a little more $$.
The 625 is meant for competition shooting, that's where it shines.

Keep looking, they're out there.
Alternatively, you could try to find a 610.....now that's hard.

Or, wait for the new 929/986. Probably be a year till they reach us, but will be a hell of a little competition piece.

An intelligently priced S&W M625 is a joy to purchase. I've bought 2 in the last 3 years, around the $850.00- $1,100.00 (with accessories) mark. As was stated before if your a competitor shooting revolver, the 625 just shines. It is so nice to just reach down and pickup your moonclip and brass in 1 move after shooting a stage. When I head to a match using the 625, I have about 240-300 rds available already loaded in clips so there is no messing around on the range. It is the PERFECT revolver!
