S&W 627 PC...Wow....

This is the best shooting HG I own. Love the brass front sight. It's very easy to pick up and the PC tune up makes the trigger very crisp in both SA & DA.
45ACP is my favourite round to shoot. Has a linear push/pull recoil and makes big holes.



I've only blasted jacketed ammo (my supply for semi's). Since I no longer have any 45ACP semi autos I'll have to pick up some wadcutters.
I'm guessing there's more maintenance involved shooting WCs?…e.g. cleaning lead out of the barrel grooves

Not at all they sit really deep in the case..and I also use the plated version that smoke less and leaves no perceivable lead

I've been shooting this one for about 5 yrs now. Finally convinced my buddy(original owner) that I needed it more than he did
Since this one is staying in the "family"...my buddy sold it to me cheap. She's only seen maybe 250rnds

They haven't made a Cdn legal version in a while, they still make them, but only in 4".

Picked up one on the EE with a WTB ad. The other was a hook up from a local dealer. It never made it to the shelf

Bringing up an oldie, found these on a site in the US - easily found on a google search for 627 Speedloader. Made by 5 Star Firearms.

Picked this one up myself, figured the best deal they had for the price, came with 2 speed loaders.

They feed great, but the holes in the loading block are too deep for wad cutters, will work with semi-wad cutters just fine though..
Really nice machining, and are available powder coated in a wide choice of colours.
