P&D? No call here yet...

Yup! I just called to see where the guns were as i saw Epps had some and i didnt want to lose out. So i talked to the Manager Chris, he got Melinda in Recieving to call me, she had my gun in her hand at the time. Not sure how many others are there. Im thinking they just arrived.

Tazik I had the 4" 629 years ago, it is indeed one of the most impressive revolvers for looks if nothing else I ever owned. A real great converstion piece at the range. They flip and twist with 240's like crazy, but I've never fired heavier like 500S&W for instance.

I wouldn't want to be ever staring into that .429" bore with my eyes nervously shifting to those big hollow points in the chambers.:sok2

I went into p&d at 1530. A clerk was calling another gent saying that his 4.2" 629 was in. I went right to the pistol counter. About 30-40 min later after picking up on other items I walked out with my 629. It is a thing of beauty. Well balanced points nice. The trigger is very heavy but smooth. I will lighten it up. The grip is a little big for my hand but still is very nice. I will update with some pictures and range report once fired. For the time, I'm going to sleep with it. Lol.

Yeah I didn't know what was going on with these things... there can't be many; more than 10, less than 50?
Anyway, I decided to move as I didn't want to miss out either. I jumped onto the EllwoodEpps boat. Good thing too as there are only 3 left as of this writing.

The ugly grip is a turn off, but it will be the first thing swapped out.
I can hardly wait. :D

I did wait for the transfer. It took all of 10 minutes. As I live out of Edmonton and was there in person I called the CFO and said I wanted to take it home today. They said not a problem and completed the transfer and game me my statt.

I will post pictures tonight.
