I never saw this before... I guess it is new or a factory custom? How did you get one?

Does it take Moonclips or speedloaders?

That price is pretty good compared to the 627-8 357 from the custom shop and it is not as well featured.

Mine is in too! Just waiting on the CFO now to finnish their thing. The barrel is weighted to reduce jump and is adjustable for the loads. Can't wait to attach my custom grey laminate combat grips to it to complete the peice. They sure are nice

Beautiful!! PC tuned guns rock!! I'm sure you're gonna be sporting a pretty big grin when you get to shoot her. :D

btw, happy belated? BD.....

Well I got mine today and ran 15 rounds of factory 44 Mag 180 grainers. Wow what a blast! The trigger is fantastic in single action but double action is not all that impressive for a performance center gun. Fit and finish is excellent and the barrel is very nice. The weight system is simple yet effective. I look forward to running some 44 spl loads and really getting this peice dialed in. The sight system is quick and comes up nice. I'll have mine out to GRGC in short order for close inspection by members.

I saw one for sale on William's Sports, they were asking around $1600.00 for it, was not there for a long time...

nice addition you got there, PC revolver are the diamond in the line of S&W

congrats

Yves

Is this revolver the same as this one on S&W's website? Looks the same, but there's no mention of it being a competition firearm, and no picture of the engraving on the other side...

It is the same one! The weights are actually 5 individual peices that can be replaced with black plastic spacers. There is a long allen head screw that runs inside the weights and screws into the under lug.

The PC 627 V-Comp my friend bought had a terrible trigger and finish. The trigger had to be reworked and the gun completely refinished. Furthermore, the firing pin bushing was oval shaped and oversized which caused primer flowback. The gun works fine now.
