S&W 629 grip size vs. Ruger Redhawk grip size.

Anyone happen to no which of theses two pistols has the bigger grip size or if there is any noticable difference in grip size?

I own both.......big difference. I have small hands and the stock Ruger wood insert grips are awesome. They fit my hand perfectly for single handed use. the newer Rugers with the Hogue grips are much larger. Still comfortable but I don't feel like I can shoot one handed. That would be on the SUPER Redhawk. The wood grips on the REDHAWK are just as nice. They sort of feel like the grips on a single action Colt, my hand can wrap right around. The original wood grips on my mod. 29 are huge! I won't shoot one-handed simply out of fear of the gun flying out of my hand! two-handed all the way with the 29. Hope that helps. I would suggest trying all possible grips before making a choice or be prepared to purchase aftermarket.
