Ok is $400 a good price for a S&W 629 that in excellent condition or a Glock 17C for $500 in excellent condition

Without a doubt, take the M629. Why? It is easier to find a Glock than a M629.

Good price. I just bought 629-2 with 3 inch barrel hardly know it was used, paid 550.00. Had to change the grip. Factory grip was to hard on hands. Put a rubber hoque on and its just a kitten now.
