dont know if ive ever seen a kydex holster for a 686 your best bet i would think is the leather safariland holsters like we use in ppc i could get you the part numbers if ya want .

Safariland does a kydex open front version too.

Just a word of caution on Blade tech holsters......I hope you like scratches!
I purchased one for my Stainless GP100 which i have used once a month for the last 3 years in competition.
I find the revolver draws really well and i like it for competition but i have a tonne of scratches on the barrel
from going in and out. I am past caring what the revolver looks like since its staying with me but thought i should post on it.
I dont seem to be getting dirt in the holster, it think it just scratches from the kydex material itself.

Thanks on the Blade Tech in stock. Will order. Thanks for the speed loader offer but my GP100 speed loaders are the same as the 686 ones. The Blade Tech is not an Open Front. I've used 3 Blade Tech holsters with my Stainless guns and never had a problem with scratches. Scratches are easy to buff out on Stainless guns.

Up against way faster autos, faster to reload, and holding 10 rounds not six, a 686 seems peculiar. The 6" barrel & holster makes it hard to conceal too. Add in at least 4 to 5 Safariland Competition III loaders on your belt, and what's the advantage?

At the very least, if you must use the 686, wouldn't the 4.2" version be a better choice?
