Hey guys(and gals), just wondering where you guys get your smith and wesson accessories for your revolvers? I've seen a lot of guys who have nice S&W revolvers on here. My uncle and I have both recently taken a liking to S&W revolvers and were looking for parts and mostly coming up empty. Things such as stainless target hammers, fiber optic sites and better rear sites. Im also trying to find a place that sells nice custom after market grips but most places are over $100 in the states so you can't get them. I know that hougue sells some grips but I don't really like any of them... Any thing you know would help, thanks.

Brownells has a wide variety of revolver parts to choose from. Order a catalog.

Eagle Grips is one grip manufacturer that will ship directly to Canada.

M.D. Charlton or Wortner Gun Works can supply and install S&W factory parts. Herrett's makes excellent custom grips. You send them a tracing of your hand and they size them accordingly. I have a set of their Roper style grips on my K-38.

I don't know if the $100 limit applies to grips; the Herrrett grips I got cost a bit more than $100 US, but I had no trouble with the order.

Wolff Gun Springs in the US sells spring kits for S&W's and is licensed to mail directly to Canada provided you keep the total cost to under $100. This was easy since the K and N frame kit is the same part number and is only $15US. I got three of them in one go and they are well worth the cost.

Ebay has grips from a number of sellers for S&W guns. It's just a case of seeing who will mail to Canada or if you are close to the border of sending it to one of the shipment receiving service centers and then go down and pick it up.

Stainless hammers won't ever be seen on my own wheelguns. Why would I replace the lovely colour case hardened stock parts? They are gorgeous as is ! ! ! ! Mind you mine are all older classic types.

Pretty much im trying to build this gun ( h ttp://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=423269&highlight=617 ) and I'm trying to put together a price list for parts so I can ball park how much everything is going to be. Most parts fall under the $100 mark so shouldn't be a problem getting them. The grips I am looking at are NILL grips and are more than $100 so I don't know if I'll be able to get them. Some people say that grips aren't a problem to get here so long as the company is willing to ship internationally. To my understanding gun parts have a $100 limit if they are a part essential to a firearm and I would consider grips to be fairly important.
