A few pics of my "pimp" target pistol. Its a late model nickel plated 39-2 with factory adjustable sights and imitation mother of pearl grips. Besides being very shiny, this gun is a masterpiece of American pistol craftmanship. It is extremely well made, the ergonomics are perfect and its shoots both softly and accurately. I just cant help loving it, its so damn cheesy that its cool. Oh, and did I mention how shiny it is?

I once had a NIB bright nickel S&W 59... only 'cause it was a super deal... not really my cup of tea, though... needs a red velour leisure suit, green felt panama hat with peacock feather & low rider caddie to go with it.

I love old smith autos and that is the finest example of a nickle 39 I have ever seen. That pistol is far to classy to be called cheesy, I would say elegant maybe. you have a fine pistol there I hope you use it and enjoy it. I have a plain mod39-2 well used but I love it.

I love it! I too have a factory nickel 39-2...but mine is fully plated, including the controls and sports factory wood grips.

These 39 to 390? models are the best grip I've had. I keep trying other guns but I keep coming back to these.
