I have a 3" mdl.36 blue and would like to put some high visibility sights on it.I looked at Dave Laucks & Hamilton Bowen,s web sights and they have them but they are several hundred dollars and you have to ship your gun to them.Anybody else got any ideas or suggestions. I also have been looking at these laser sight, grip combos. But would like to get the iron sights sorted out first.

If you must have bells and whistles, get a set of CT grips, but the factory sights work just fine, particularly the older 1/10th inch serated front sight.

I had an old TD Bank 3 inch square butt I regret selling.

You can order the Bowen site and have it installed by a Canadian smith. IMHO the grooved receiver is perfect for these little guns. A set of grips from Crimson Trace, which is what Canuck223 referred to, might be a better solution as there is no alteration to the gun, nothing to catch on clothing, and the laser dot confirms your sighting.

If my near vison was,nt fading I would leave them alone.Using my Hansen Eagle Eye shooting glasses I can make them work and they do shoot to point of aim.I just don,t wear glasses except to read.Okay the Bowen rear sight and for a front sight? I see XS Sights lists a Big Dot front sight that you have to mill a dovetail to install. What do you think of that combo? As to the laser sight I was looking at the J Max from LaserMax it looks like a better setup for a left hander.
