S&W M&P 22lr in 2.0?? Will there be one?

I'm interested in the m&p 2.0, but id like one in 22lr. Anyone know if S&W plans to roll one out or not?

The .22M&P is made under license by Walther [IIRC] and while it's the same size and shape as a S&W M&P they are quite different internally. Consequently the trigger and action is different, there are no removable backstraps and etc. Walther _might_ make a 2.0 version of their pistol, but it would still only be an approximation of the real thing. I think it's unlikely [but I could be wrong...].
