I'm in search of the perfect load, perfect powder and perfect bullet for my new M&P .40cal. I've loaded 180 FMJ, 180 LSWC, 170 LSWC, 180 JHP, 165 LRN and other assorted goofy stuff using all kinds of different powders, such as Universal Clays, Tite Group, 231, Bullseye and more.

Still looking for the magic load. Anybody have any ideas? I'll use the gun in PPC Duty Pistol competition.

180gr. Frontier Plated FP, 4.5gr. Titegroup, Win brass, WSP, 1.125". Makes major in my G22 and is extrememly consistant.

I can't load a better load than this, and I've tried many powders, cases and bullets. This is my magic load!

Substitute the bullet for a Rn 180gr lead bullet and that is the same recipe, primer, brass, and oal that I use in my M&P. It shoots really good too.

Thanks very much. I have a pound or two of Titegroup around - I'll give it a try. Used some 231 yesterday and that worked quite well - 4.0 grains with the 180 SWC.
