S&W M&P .40 rebate

Has anyone applied to Smith for the rebate on the M&P semi? How long did it take to get the mags and cheque? Did the mags and cheque come at the same time? Were the mags shipped from the States? Any extra duty costs?A co-worker applied six weeks ago and had a phone call from Smith this week to double check the mailing address etc. They said they would be shipping them shortly.
Great rebate deal from Smith...I kind of like the gun...

I've applied, but only sent it off about a month ago, so I don't expect anything for a little while yet. I hear that they're backed up.

I've heard from some other folks that S&W tends to ship via UPS, which results in a total bill of about $25 for duty/brokerage/BS fees.

I got my mags within a month ... surprisingly quick, really. They came by Fedex, with taxes and a B.S. Fedex fee due totalling $20ish. No rebate cheque yet.
