Just arrived tonight.

Had a small issue with the slide release due to a burr. Fixed with my trusty file.

Other than that everybody should own one of these. I wanted a .45 and didn't want to go the 1911 route, so this seemed like a good option. Glad I did!!

The three backstraps are great, anybody with a large paw like mine will love the bigger one. This is easily the nicest fiting pistol I own.

Can't wait to get to the range with it.

Thanks again Armand.

Got mine several years ago and love it. Although I also have a 1911, this sees more range time. I love having a pistol with a full 10 rounds of 45 in the mag and it doesn't hang down to my knees:p.
I went with the standard version, no mag disconnect. Didn't like the look of the thumb safety one. TETO.

The only issue I've had with mine was finding extra mags for it. Most places carried the 9 and 40's, but nothing in 45:(. Finally found some in the EE.
I see Apex is finally making sears kits for the 45 now. Hope to get one of those sometime in the future.

Enjoy your pistol. Even though one grip may feel right when dry firing, take them all to the range and try different ones with live ammo. I started with the large 'cause it "felt right" while taking a sight on the TV. At the range, not so good. Switched to the medium and finally the small. Your experience may differ.

I have the M&P9, but I keep finding myself wishing I had a 45ACP. That and I want it in Coyote...that looks great man. Slam a X300 on it and call it a night

i got an m&p 9 and love it as well... wish it was in OD like yours. cant say i like the switch safety though
get a mag with a black floor plate. i like that look!

BUY THIS NOW. It's in stock which is rare but is a must for M&P owners. Completely eliminates trigger over travel, reduces trigger reset length and makes it far more crisper and positive. Brings the trigger weight down to 5.5.

3000 IDPA rounds down my M&P (.40) with one failure to eject ,because it was likely dirty. Best fit for my small hand (opposite to you) ....couldnt agree more...you will love it more each time you are out! Congrats

I have both 40 and 9mm, several thousand through them, never a problem, I'll be getting the 45 as soon as I thin the herd in my safe.

Brownells has mags for all the M&P calibers, ordered 3 extra for my desert tan .45. Two came right away one was back ordered received it several weeks later, but didn't have to pay additional shipping fees. The mags match the originals perfectly.
