All of the following instructors run red dots on 9mm pistols. Kelly McCann runs red dot guns almost exclusively, and has for at least 2 years, and while he isn't a household name, the client list at Crucible would read like a Who's Who of who's dangerous. The reliability will definitely improve, the main issue seems to be issues with water, both on the lens and the LED emitter - not a problem in some areas, but here on the Wet Coast, a huge impediment. I'm starting to think some kind of OEG type option would be a big step for this problem.
