S&w m&p m2.0?

I currently have a gen1 range kit on layaway as I had no sweet clue the gen2 was coming out until like 2 days ago.. I plan on going in and seeing if I can change it to a gen2.. So here's hoping, either way I won't be upset but when something new and shiny comes out... Ya know?

Always has been. Nothing new there. The Gen 1's will come down but the fact there are 40 cal M&P's on the EE has little to do with it. From what I understand the gun shops in the US have 40 cals sitting on their shelves not moving as well. The caliber has lost a lot of it's following. Still an excellent caliber just not as popular as it may have been.

The new gun is going to slow or stop sales of the Gen 1 guns until the price falls to the point where folks see value in the 1st generation that is not dislodged by the Gen 2 guns. The latter are said to be quite nice. The M&P's I have now still shoot better than I can so there is not much incentive to illustrate my ineptness with yet another "improved" gun. Sounds good but I just bought a 92A1 so that statement doesn't hold up does it.
