S&W M&P owner report

The M&P seems to take all rhe good points of the Glock series and Walther P99 and put them together.

Mine worked flawlessly with factory ammo (.40), but I'm still habing problems with my reloads, but I think the ammo's the problem, not the gun.

Also, I don't know what kind of steel the barrel is made of, but it seems to dissipate heat very quickly. I've fired 100 rounds in very rapid fire (that was my homemade torture test, 3 or 4 seconds per magazine), and the barrel was much cooler than my 1911 stainless barrel after the same treatment.

we made the M&P steaming hot...it melted the ammo box we placed it on.

I got off work a little early today and went down to the local gun shop... to brouse. Anyways they had an M&P 9mm there. Well feeling is believing. It had the medium grip panel on... and it felt great. Natural pointer. The fit and finish was sooo much better than the pics give credit for. This thing is was beautiful! Needless to say... it will be my next handgun purchase.
