S&W M&P Promo

Sometimes when something is too good will stop me go for it. I think Smith is going to clear some old stock and redesign the gun into 2nd generation.

True, but this doesn't necessarily imply that there is something 'wrong' with the current design.

No I didn't said there are bugs in the gun, infact it is the good thing about Smith. If you take a look of their revolver like 686, They are now at generation six, mine is five. It is a good way to keep up their quality.

Hi

I think the simple answer is that it's selling guns. That's sort of what they want to do :D :D :D

The only problem with the "clear the inventory" idea is that usually they do that *after* the new one is out. I've gotten some great deals that way.

since they are running behind on manufacturing for this gun, I don't think it's old stock. all mags shipping are brand new.

I just sent out my promo two days ago. I'll let everyone know when they show up - they should all be around the same time.

And I think that the promo is just that, a promotion to promote their new pistol, a direct competitor to the Glock. They've gotta get as many of them out there as soon as possible to get their foot in the door.

Muwahahahh, I was just going to get screwed out of this promotion an then BAM! Extended!!

God bless you S&W!

Where did you hear this? It is not on their site.

I spoke to their customer service last week who confirms that they WILL be extending the special.

Sales have gone well beyond their expectations and they have sold an incredible amount of M&P's. They are putting a beating on Glock.

Free mag deal will take about THREE MONTHS to fulfill due to volume.

Great, now my decision making process just got harder.

I emailed them just to make sure and they replied with yes it's valid in Canada you just have to pay duty on the mags.

If that included brokerage, it's pretty good.

hmmm, pretty sure it did. The receipt says FedEx has paid duties/taxes to the CCRA on my behalf. It's only a $85 package so I hope I won't get dinged again a month from now...

Value for duty $84.37

gst $4.22
pst $5.91

ROD fee(?) $10
gst on that $.50

I sent my rebate on or around Dec 1st...
