S&W M&P questions....

Hey guys, yesterday I got to pick up my new S&W M&P .40 I haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet, but really like how compact it is.

what ammo do these things like? just any old .40 S&W?

where can a guy find extra mags?

My 9mm likes anything I feed it.

When I was at P&D a couple of weeks ago, they had just got a shipment of mags in. Give them a call and see if they have any left in stock. They were $55 each i think.

If your pistol is quality(which I'm sure the S&W is) it should digest anything you can feed it.

If you bought it new on/after 01Nov, S&W has a promotion that will provide u with 2 new mags + $50rebate. I doubt if they'll spring for the $50 but I expect u can get the mags. Many of us Canadians did on their summer promotion and fall promo. Visit their website for details..

Isn't it easy to get spare parts and accessories for S&W MP? or hoslters?

Not sure about spare parts, the mags were back ordered every where I tried before P&D got some in.

Since the M&P is a relatively new model, holsters have been a little difficult to find. I couldn't find one locally so I ended up ordering a Blade-Tech revolution from the states which should be delivered today.
