I got this for my wife for Christmas, - it came in a few weeks ago.

She wanted a gun that was similar to her primary training gun (a M&P22 pistol).
Originally I had ordered her a a 9C, but she has a Glock19, and wanted a smaller carry gun.

Size compared to my J Frame BUG.

Shooting it, it is quite controllable - despite the small size. The gun ships with both a 8rd and 7 rd magazine, and even with the 8rd magazine it is smaller than my J Frame and easier to shoot.
So I will be shortly ordering one, and the J Frame will be shuffling off to collect dust beside my 1911, and M&P45 (my current carry gun is a 9mm M&P Core).

Wow, they're actually smaller than I thought they were - very nice, but it would look absolutely fugly with a Canadian barrel on it.

Kevin, are you running an optic (RMR?) on the core - or just running the high irons?

Leupold Delta Point -- they seem to be my best option currently until I can get a DeltapointII (not commercially released).

The 9C should be here soon too. I need to measure out a range in the backyard so I can do some accuracy comparisons

Thats awesome. I would really like a Shield, but I think being that small a 106mm barrel would look stupid.

I have a 40c and it doesn't look too bad.

I saw a video (ATEI or Aegis - I forget which) and it was amazing how easy it was to conceal a pistol with that type of sight on it, the additional speed without changing the draw is amazing. The Shield looks like it would just disappear with even a half ways decent holster.
