Just got an email from S&W announcing the release of the new 15-22. Pretty neat looking rig but for $500US I can wait. I am sure the price will plummet or at least drop somewhat once its been in the market for a year and the dealers all start to claw for business..

Seems it may have a better chance making it into Canada as a non-restricted than the M4 .22 Umarex does.

Yup, pretty much all polymer with metal inserts. Went a bit nuts with the rails but some folks go crazy for all that stuff...Still looks decent tho..

I actually kind of like it. Accuracy will be the telling feature for me. I think it's too short with the stock collapsed to be legal here so there will probably need to be a fixed stock option.

Price is everything, and mag availability is a close second.

But as it stands, TI mags for my 10/22 are completely unavailable, and this rifle competes in price with a 10/22 with a AR style stock...I might have to buy one of these for ####s and giggles.
