OK GUYS, i'm about to buy an S&W MP15, what's the + and the - of this rifle?17 inches barrel WITHOUT flash suppressor.

ok but what does the flash suppressor do?? can i use an EOTech sight on my AR without the flash suppressor???

Yes.

You might give away youur postion when shooting at night not having one but that's about it.

If you decide down the road you want one, any gunsmith can thread the end of the barrel to accept one too.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the flash suppressor doesn't hide your position from someone. It is to protect you from the flash.

In low light in might help you keep your night vision but the #1 reason is to not give away your position
