S&W M&P22's are HERE!

Anyone having trouble removing the take down pin? Mine only comes off by wrapping a cord around it and pulling... if I pull by the lever with my hands it only comes out 2-3 mm and then is stuck.I already did it over 10 times and it s not getting any easier.

Great gun too shoot, waiting for more mags.

Mine is quite stiff as well. I hope by out you don't mean out of the pistol, but rather out far enough to remove the slide. I read a review out of the US where the guy removed the take down lever completely and had a heck of a time getting it back in. I tried to oil mine, but that didn't really help. Funny enough that while shooting I can feel it wiggle out a tiny bit.

Thanks,
Cal.

It doesn't completely come off when I pull with the cord, I did remove the pin all the way out to check it and see if something was rubbing or blocking it; looks smooth and plenty of grease in there. I had to read the manual section and play with it a little bit until a figured how to put it back, needs to be in the right direction and at an specific angle, play with it and you will find.

I had the same issue with the take down lever/pin. I found the the trick is not to just pull and pry like I first attempted but to jiggle/wiggle while gently pulling it out. I haven't had a problem since. Same process to reinsert it. As far as completely removing the lever, I believe I read how to replace it in the manual. Being curious I removed mine so I could see how it came out and went back just in case it came out in the future. Hope that helps.

Same problem here. Only my take down lever snapped in half on me. I'll be making a call tomorrow for a new lever and will have to replace it. I figure I'll shoot it and hope that loosens it up before trying to get the pin out and put in a new one.

Was really happy as it's very close to my M&P9. Very nice 22 pistol. But have to admit this killed the fun a lot.

I hope you can get parts fast, let us know how fast you receive them. It's been so long since I've seen my gun lol!
