On a Glock 22, you can just switch the barrel and fire 9mm. Does that also work for the M&P40?

Yes. I ordered my replacement barrel from Storm Lake Barrels, you can order any barrel you like from them, then they send it to Questar(who deals with paperwork),then it's mailed to you. I then found a 9mm magazine on the EE.

I've shot 200 rnds through mine, from CCI, to Wolf, without any problems whatsoever.

Does this work both ways? Can i buy a .40cal barrel and mag and use it on my 9mm S&W M&P? Im guessing most likely not.

with a .40 you can go 9mm and .357sig. but not other way around. still who needs a .40?
