S&W M&P45 Threaded Barrel Kit 150923 -- in Canada?

Hey all, is this particular item being sold by any dealer in Canada, or will I have to go through the process of getting it imported?

Before anyone asks, it's because I like the look of a pistol with a threaded barrel.

I've also considered the FNP-45 Tactical. It's really attractive with the ability to mount red dots right out of the box (and co-witness with the irons, too). It also comes in the ever stylish black now, but double stack .45 might be a bit too much for me to get a good grip on. (And, let's face it, it's wasted with the kind of laws we have.)

I suspect that you, just as I, would prefer to buy an OEM barrel. (I can't help you there.)

But, if it would suit you, you can easily place an online order an for aftermarket barrel directly from Storm Lake (who will export it via Questar, automatically, at no extra charge).

The factory barrel may be available through Brownells, if you have a local firearms business that will put it on their order for you it may be easier/cheaper, or you can get an import permit and go from there - personally, I'd get a Storm Lake, easy and good quality.

damn I gotta admit a 45, flat dark earth with threaded barrel and weaponlight would look really bad*ss. Kinda makes me think if I should've got the 45 instead of the 40

From the looks of it, an M&P45 (going by Frontier Firearms price) + Storm Lake would be ~$1k, and the kit, after import fees, would be ~$850.
