Can anyone tell me if the trigger is any good? I've heard they changed it but really, anything is better than the rubbery sloppy trigger of the previous version.
I recently bought the M&P 2.0 in .40. The Trigger is slightly better than the first generation I owned. It is by no means a competition trigger, but I find it much better than that of the Glock. It was well worth the money.

I find it a lot better than the first M&P9 trigger...still a bit odd to me in the way it has a slight sponginess to it compared to say a glock trigger that has a firm 'wall' before it breaks, but it is nice and audible and still breaks pretty clean. I think what I'm feeling is to do with the trigger hinge design mostly (ie that hinge midway up the trigger itself) ...but still all in all a lot better than the first 1.0 version. ...hope that helps - hard to explain and best to try it out yourself if you can before you buy one. ..I like mine enough to keep it for sure.
